Every order at Bob's Home Office Furniture ships free to UK mainland addresses — no minimum spend, no hidden costs. Here's everything you need to know about how and when your order arrives.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free to all UK mainland addresses with no minimum spend. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands may incur a surcharge depending on the product, manufacturer, and courier. We'll confirm any additional cost by email before dispatch, with the option to proceed or cancel for a full refund.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 1–10 working days. The exact lead time depends on the product and the manufacturer. Estimated delivery times are shown on every product page before checkout. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, excluding UK bank holidays.
If a delivery falls outside these hours, we'll contact you first to check availability. And if we can't meet the estimated delivery window for any reason — supplier delay, courier issue, or anything else — we'll contact you as soon as we know, and you'll have the option to wait or cancel for a full refund.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver across the whole United Kingdom — England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland — plus the Channel Islands. Free delivery covers UK mainland residential, home office, and commercial addresses. Remote areas may incur a surcharge that we confirm by email before dispatch.
UK mainland (free delivery)
Most of England, Scotland, and Wales falls within our free delivery zone. Free delivery covers residential, home office, and commercial addresses alike — we treat them all the same.
Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland & Channel Islands
We're happy to deliver to remote areas including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands. For these destinations a delivery surcharge may apply, depending on the product, manufacturer, and courier. Place your order as normal — once we have the final cost from our courier, we'll email you with a quote, and you can choose to proceed or cancel for a full refund.
Can I track my order?
Tracking depends on the supplier dispatching your item. As soon as we receive tracking details, we'll email them to you so you can follow your order. If you haven't heard anything, email bob@bobshomeofficefurniture.co.uk with your order number and we'll chase it up.
Where will my furniture be delivered to?
Standard delivery is to your ground-floor entrance — the front door of a house, or the main entrance of a block of flats or commercial building. Couriers are not contracted to carry items upstairs or into specific rooms as standard. Some larger items come with two-person delivery, which is noted on the product page.
Need extra help? If you have specific access requirements — narrow stairs, awkward entryways, a flat without a lift, or limited mobility — email bob@bobshomeofficefurniture.co.uk before ordering and we'll check what we can arrange.
What if I'm not home when the courier arrives?
If no one is available to take delivery, the courier will either leave a card with re-delivery instructions or contact you to arrange a new time. If delivery is repeatedly attempted without success and the goods are returned to the manufacturer, a re-delivery charge may apply.
To avoid this, please make sure someone can be available on the delivery day, or contact us in advance if you need to arrange a specific time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If packaging is visibly damaged, note this when you sign for the delivery. If the product itself is damaged or parts are missing, email bob@bobshomeofficefurniture.co.uk as soon as possible — ideally within a few days of delivery — with photographs where possible. We'll arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Do you offer next-day or Saturday delivery?
We don't currently offer guaranteed next-day or Saturday delivery. If fast delivery is critical, email bob@bobshomeofficefurniture.co.uk before ordering and we'll see what's possible for your specific product and location.
When does risk pass to you?
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, risk in the goods (and responsibility for them) passes to you when you — or someone you've nominated to accept delivery on your behalf — takes physical possession of the items. Until that point, the goods are our responsibility.
